Kissimmee, Fla.The Mulberry, Florida-based furniture retailer also opened a new dealer-owned store last month in Apopka, as well as a new corporate store on South Orange Blossom Trail near the Florida Mall in July 2018.
A grand opening celebration and ribbon cutting took place on Friday, March 8th, where members of the company’s executive team and community leaders commemorated the new store and the expansion of Badcock’s presence in the greater Orlando area. During the ribbon cutting ceremony, a donation was presented to Give Kids the World Village, a local non-profit resort providing free vacations to children with critical illnesses and their families. The family-owned company has a long history of giving back to the communities it resides in as part of its mission to help customers make their houses feel like homes.
The Kissimmee location is individually owned and operated by a large network of Dealer owners. This store is owned by Jason Pate who is part of a larger family operation with ownership of eleven stores in Florida and Georgia. “We are excited to be here in the Kissimmee market amidst the crossroads of authentic old Florida and the active tourism corridor. There is so much energy here from residents and visitors alike – we look forward to growing our relationship with this vibrant community,” says Jason.
The 115-year-old Badcock Home Furniture &more brand has experienced rapid expansion in the past five years across eight states and dealers like Jason are helping Badcock increase its footprint in the Central Florida area.
